A free, read-only Model Context Protocol server. Your assistant can search 849 verified AI tools and quote prices with the date we checked them, the price history, whether a tool is still live and what to use instead.

Endpoint

https://agipicks.com/mcp

Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0, stateless, no sign-up and no key. Implements the MCP specification revisions 2026-07-28 (per-request metadata, server/discover) and 2025-11-25 / 2025-06-18 / 2025-03-26 (initialize).

`get_pricing`	`slug`	Plans and prices in the vendor currency, the date they were checked, the official pricing page and the price history.
`check_tool_status`	`slug`	Live, beta, shutting down, retired or acquired — with the date, the source and the successor.
`find_alternatives`	`slug, limit?`	Verified alternatives with their starting prices.

Data and rate limits

Only verified tools are returned, with their AGIPicks URL and the dates facts were checked. Prices are valid on “checkedAt”, in the vendor currency. There are no ratings, reviews or affiliate data. About 30 requests per minute per IP address (short bursts allowed); please cache results. The same facts can be downloaded as open data. Open data →
