What Kickresume does
Kickresume is an online builder for resumes and cover letters. You pick a template, fill in your sections, and can use an AI writer to generate work experience bullet points from a job title or to draft a cover letter. Other tools on the site include an ATS resume checker that scores a resume, a Career Map that suggests career paths from your resume, LinkedIn and PDF import, resume tailoring to a job description, and a builder that turns a resume into a personal website. Premium subscribers also get the Kickresume app for iOS and Android.
Pricing follows a freemium model. The Free plan costs €0 per month and includes 4 basic resume templates, 4 matching cover letter templates and 1 basic website template, with unlimited downloads. Premium is sold in three billing periods: Monthly at €24 per month billed monthly, Quarterly at €18 per month (€54 paid every 3 months), and Yearly at €8 per month billed yearly (€96 paid every 12 months). Premium unlocks 40+ resume templates, 40+ cover letter templates, the AI Writer and the ATS Resume Checker. Paid plans carry a 14-day money back guarantee. The pricing page also says Kickresume is free for students who can prove their status, and a separate grammar correction service is priced at €26 per resume.

Our take
Kickresume fits job seekers who want one place to build a resume, a matching cover letter and a simple personal website, and who like starting on a free plan before paying. The Free plan covers only 4 basic resume templates, so anyone who wants the 40+ templates or the AI Writer must pay. The cheapest rate, €8 per month, requires paying €96 every 12 months, while monthly billing costs €24 per month. The vendor itself says AI-written cover letters need editing. The pages do not mention an API, so it is not aimed at teams that want to automate it.
