What Everpod does

Everpod hosts AI agents on a cloud computer that the vendor calls a pod. Each pod stays on when your laptop is closed, keeps your files, tools and logins, and is private to one customer. Everpod builds the machine, installs the agent and secures it.

There are two kinds of hosting. A developer pod suits people who already use a coding agent: Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi and Hermes can be installed, and other agents can be added by hand. You administer it yourself, reach it over SSH through Tailscale, and sign in with your own model plan or API key. Developer pods come in sizes S, M and L, priced at $24, $42 and $79 per month.

The second kind is Managed OpenClaw at $29 per month. Everpod sets up and runs OpenClaw, a personal agent you message from apps such as Telegram, Discord, Slack and WhatsApp. Model usage is included up to a monthly allowance of $10, and larger plans start at $59 a month.

The pricing page lists no free plan or trial. Prices are in US dollars, payment is by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and you can cancel anytime. Pods are hosted in Europe and get daily backups. The vendor says setup takes 10 to 15 minutes, after which it emails you.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Pod stays online when your laptop is closed, with files and logins kept
  • Developer pods let you install several coding agents or add other ones
  • Managed OpenClaw is set up and run for you at $29 per month
  • Daily backups and one customer per machine
  • Cancel anytime, with prices listed publicly in US dollars

Cons

  • No free plan or free trial is listed on the pricing page
  • Developer pods include no model usage; you need your own plan or API key
  • Managed OpenClaw usage is limited to a monthly allowance, with larger plans costing $59 or $99 a month
  • Developer pods need a separate Tailscale account and are aimed at people who work in a terminal
  • Pods are hosted in Europe

Our take

Everpod fits people who want an agent to keep running while their laptop is shut, without buying and securing a separate computer. Developer pods suit those comfortable in a terminal who already pay for a model plan or key. Managed OpenClaw suits people who want a messaging-based agent with nothing technical to set up. The trade-offs: no free plan or trial is listed, developer pods include no model usage, managed usage is capped monthly, and hosting is in Europe only. Compare the monthly cost against what you already pay for model access.
