What Hugging Face does

Hugging Face is a web platform where the machine learning community shares and works on models, datasets and applications. The homepage describes hosting of public models, datasets and applications as unlimited, and says the platform covers text, image, video, audio and 3D work. Alongside the hub, the company maintains open source libraries, including Transformers for PyTorch models.

For running models, an API called Inference Providers reaches 45,000+ models from other AI providers with no service fees. Inference Endpoints deploy a model on dedicated, autoscaling infrastructure straight from the Hub, and Spaces applications can be moved to GPU hardware. The pricing page lists a free CPU Basic hardware tier for Spaces.

Plan prices on the pricing page are listed per month. The PRO Account costs $9 per month and adds $2 of inference credits monthly, 10× private storage capacity and 8× ZeroGPU quota. The Team plan costs $20 per month per user and adds SSO, audit logs and resource groups. Enterprise costs $50 per month per user and adds SCIM provisioning and dedicated support, with managed billing under annual commitments. Storage is priced separately, starting at $12 per TB per month for public repositories, and GPU compute starts at $0.60 per hour.

Individuals can step up to PRO at $9 per month, while organizations pay per user per month, from $20 on Team.
