What MyLiveChat does

MyLiveChat is a chat service for websites. Visitors click a chat button on your pages and talk to your agents in real time. The official site says it works with WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, OpenCart and Google Sites, and its facts describe installation through one script tag. Agents can work from a web browser, Windows or Mac, or iOS and Android. A REST API reference is also published.

The feature pages list a pre-chat form that captures a name, email or custom fields, canned responses with quick-insert shortcuts, and an offline form for times when nobody is on duty. Proactive invitations can be triggered by URL, time on page, scroll depth or referrer. An AI chatbot answers from your own knowledge base and hands over to humans, and a single editor serves both a public help center and the AI training data. A shared inbox adds email-to-ticket follow-up, queue views and macros.

Pricing is freemium. The Free plan costs $0 per month with 1 live agent, unlimited chats and no credit card required. Paid plans are billed monthly: Starter $15, Basic $29 (2 to 4 seats), Corporate $59 (5 to 9 seats) and Enterprise from $99+ (10+ seats). Chat history is kept for 3 to 15 years depending on the plan. AI is priced separately.

Our take

MyLiveChat fits small and mid-sized teams that mainly want to talk to visitors on their own website and would like to start on a free plan with one agent before paying. Paid tiers are grouped by number of seats, so cost grows as the support team grows. AI replies are priced apart from the seat plans, either as managed reply allowances or as Own-Key AI at $15 per AI agent per month plus your own OpenAI bill, so the total needs to be worked out for each setup. The pricing page shows no per-month price for annual billing and gives Enterprise only as a starting figure, so larger or yearly deals would need a conversation with the vendor. The facts also state no free trial length. Teams wanting a fixed, fully published price for a big deployment may find the information incomplete.
